What are Cultural Passes?
Cultural Passes are special circulating passes provided by local attractions that grant library patrons free admission for a certain amount of time. These passes can be borrowed just like a book, making cultural and recreational experiences more accessible to everyone. Our current collection includes passes to several local partners, and we are also actively working to expand this collection to include even more exciting destinations!
At Snyder County Libraries, we are thrilled to introduce our “Cultural Passes” collection, designed to provide our patrons with free access to local cultural and recreational attractions. These passes offer an excellent opportunity for families and friends to explore and enjoy the rich variety of activities available in our community without breaking the bank!
Our Current Collection for 2026
Lewisburg Children’s Museum
The Lewisburg Children’s Museum is a vibrant and interactive space designed for children to learn through play. It offers a wide range of exhibits and activities that cater to various age groups, encouraging creativity, curiosity, and learning.
This pass is good for admittance for four people for up to one week. Just return it when you’re done!
What You Can Enjoy:

How to Borrow the Pass:
- Visit the Snyder County Libraries’ catalog. (You may need to “Log In” in the top right corner. Your “barcode” is your library card number, and your “password” is the last four digits of your phone number.)
- Check the availability of the Lewisburg Children’s Museum pass.
- Click “Place Request,” and we’ll call you when your pass is ready to pick up.
Bloomsburg Children’s Museum
The Bloomsburg Children’s Museum is another fantastic destination for young minds. With a variety of exhibits focusing on history, science, and the arts, children are sure to find something that captures their imagination.
This pass is good for admittance for five people for up to one week. Just return it when you’re done!
What You Can Enjoy:
- Interactive exhibits on local history, culture, and science
- Art and craft workshops
- Seasonal and special events
How to Borrow the Pass:

- Check the availability of the Bloomsburg Children’s Museum pass.
- Click “Place Request,” and we’ll call you when your pass is ready to pick up.
Selinsgrove Area Community Pool
This pass is fully booked for the Summer of 2026.
The Selinsgrove Community Swimming Pool is perfect for a refreshing day out during the warmer months. It’s a great place for swimming, relaxation, and enjoying quality time with family and friends.
This pass is good for admittance for six people for up to one week. And, you do not have to return it when you’re done.
What You Can Enjoy:
- Access to the pool and recreational facilities
- Special events and family swim days
- A safe and fun environment for all ages
How to Borrow the Pass:
- Call The Rudy Gelnett Library at 570.374.7163
- The library is issued ten individual passes for the ten weeks the pool is open. You can reserve any available pass until we run out of all ten passes.
- When you place a hold, we will put your name on our calendar, and we will call you on the first day the pass is available. You will have seven days to use the pass as much as you’d like.
- These passes will be issued for six individuals, and the names of those individuals will be recorded on the pass itself and shared with the pool. There can be no sharing of the passes with other individuals outside the initial six permitted by the pass. Any abuses of this agreement may result in the library losing access to these passes.
