Are you trying to find AR (Accelerated Reader) books at the proper level for your child?  Use AR BookFinder to look up book levels. Selinsgrove Area School District parents:  if you wish to login to your child's account to see what they have read, what tests they have taken, how many points they have, their word count, etc.  go to Renaissance Home Connect.  Your child will need to tell you their username and password.  Snyder County Libraries doesn't have this information.

MAHJONG TUESDAYS  at Gelnett Library

- Every Tuesday at 1pm on the 3rd floor

for those who havie a working knowledge of the game.

      FOOD FOR  THOUGHT                                                        COOKBOOK CLUB

 at Gelnett Library

 2nd Monday of every other month

 (January, March, May, July, September, November)

A cook book is chosen by the group and put
on display at the circulation desk. You can
choose a recipe to make and bring it the
night of the event to share with everyone.
It is a great way to share a love of cooking and recipes!



2nd and 4th Tuesday from 1-3pm

Home Delivery Service
We provide delivery service to all Snyder County Residents 
who are unable to visit our libraries due to health or transportation
issues.  If you are interested in more information about this service
please call 570-374-7163 and ask for Jeff or Jennnifer.   



Book Discussion Groups

The community is invited to participate in monthly book discussions at the Snyder County Libraries.  The library will host a morning discussion on the second Tuesday of every month at 10 AM at the Gelnett Library, Selinsgrove  and an evening discussion on the third Thursday of every month at 6:45 PM in the Middleburg Community Room.  Each month a new book will be discussed.  A monthly book list will be published in the Selinsgrove Library, in the Daily Item, and on the library's web site at www.snydercountylibraries.org.  This program is free and open to the public.  For more information please contact the Selinsgrove Library at 570-374-7163.

Evening Book Group List:

The Snyder County Libraries Evening Book Club will meet the third Thursday of each month (September - June) in the Community Room of the Middleburg Borough Building at 6:45.  There is no fee and readers of all ages are welcome to join in the informal discussion of the selected books.  A person can come for every meeting, a few, or even just one.
