Box of Light Camps are Returning this Summer!  From July 25-29, the courses offered are My Own Picture Book, Robotics Jr., Minecraft Film, Piece of the Pi, Game On!, Minecraft Medley and Star Wars FX.   From August 8-12, the classes are Manners for Minors, Lego Maniacs Jr., Robo Rumble, Zombie Film, Lego Maniacs and Claymation.  To register, click on this link.  You will need to scroll down past all the other camps before you find the Selinsgrove camps listed.

Are you trying to find AR (Accelerated Reader) books at the proper level for your child?  Use AR BookFinder to look up book levels. Selinsgrove Area School District parents:  if you wish to login to your child's account to see what they have read, what tests they have taken, how many points they have, their word count, etc.  go to Renaissance Home Connect.  Your child will need to tell you their username and password.  Snyder County Libraries doesn't have this information.

Book Discussion Groups

The community is invited to participate in monthly book discussions at the Snyder County Libraries.  The library will host a morning discussion on the second Tuesday of every month at 10 AM at the Gelnett Library, Selinsgrove  and an evening discussion on the third Thursday of every month at 6:45 PM in the Middleburg Community Room.  Each month a new book will be discussed.  A monthly book list will be published in the Selinsgrove Library, in the Daily Item, and on the library's web site at www.snydercountylibraries.org.  This program is free and open to the public.  For more information please contact the Selinsgrove Library at 570-374-7163.

The Snyder County Libraries Evening Book Club will meet the third Thursday of each month (September - June) in the Community Room of the Middleburg Borough Building at 6:45.  There is no fee and readers of all ages are welcome to join in the informal discussion of the selected books.  A person can come for every meeting, a few, or even just one.
